The Executive Secretary of Petroleum Equalisation Fund (Management) Board, Alhaji Ahmed Bobbo was in attendance alongside delegates from PEF(M)B. He was one of the speakers for a panel discussion during the downstream and midstream round table on “The Real Deal in minding the supply gap” where he reiterated PEF(M)B’s allegiance to the government as a government agency and her commitment to driving more investment to the downstream sector by ensuring efficient and effective distribution of petroleum products through the timely collection of contributions from Marketers, prompt payment of claims to marketers and strategic partnership with stakeholders. He went further to state that PEF(M)B, a self-funded organisation, has a highly skilled workforce and world class infrastructure that is ready to deliver service to the nation and is poised to align with governments decision concerning the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB).
The NIPS held plenary sessions, exhibitions, bilateral meetings, exclusive networking events, technical workshops that facilitated a platform for industry players to discuss extensively on industry matters and the way forward.
Petroleum Equalisation Fund (Management) Board was a Bronze sponsor of the summit and had a stand at the event where staff exhibitors educated visitors on the role, responsibilities and activities of the Board.
